Walking with Jesus
It’s no longer I; it’s no longer me,
But it’s Jesus I now see!
I see Christ, in all of His glory,
Living His life through me!
I see Him high and lifted up,
Reigning in power,
For all the world to see!
It’s not I, it’s not me,
It’s not my ability,
But it’s Christ Himself-
Giving me His sufficiency.
I have His love, I have His faith,
I have His name,
Yesterday, today, and forever,
Christ in me- He’s still the same!
He gave me His love,
He gave me His word and His name,
He gave me all that He has,
What more could He do?
Now in Him, I am complete,
And He will do the same for you.
His Holy Spirit is my guide,
He leads me daily from inside.
He gives me understanding,
As I read His Word,
And tells me things I’ve never heard,
He crosses my path with special people-
Divine connections that only He could make.
I am amazed when He does these things-
Lasting bonds and nothing fake,
Relationships that even the devil cannot break.
And so today, as I walk with Jesus,
I am thankful for all He does,
And most of all, I’m thankful for His love.
Without Him, I would be lost and undone,
But with Him, I have it all!
For this I am thankful,
Walking with Jesus is “job one!”
