When I was growing up in South Central L.A., you could walk into a convenient store with just $5 in your pocket and come out with 2 rotisserie chickens, 2 half gallons of milk, 2 Snickers, 2 cartons of cigarettes, a comic book and a stick of gum. Now you can’t. Too many cameras.
