Protesters' mistake or how to take power

Do you know why the citizens in Brazil were defeated yesterday, the consequences of which we are seeing today? The reason is quite trivial - the protesters had no clear plan of action. It was the same in Belarus when people massively opposed Alexander Lukashenko.

When mass protests are approaching, it is necessary to have a Citizens' Committee, which should plan both the protests and the actions during & after the protests. Come in, smash everything up, you could even burn it down, but governments are rarely overthrown by such methods. Even before the mass protests, the Citizens' Committee should prepare a Interim provisional government, which will take over during the protests. Of course, the members of such a transitional government must have the full support of the majority of protesters.

During the protests, not only the residence of the president, the prime minister, the parliament, but also the offices of the TV and radio companies, even if they are all private, because in an emergency the people have the right to temporarily seize any building and any company. After taking over all this, the transitional government should address the nation with a well-written speech, explaining the situation in detail, popularly, to calm all fears, to tell the people what steps should be taken, thus giving hope for a brighter future.

In the same speech, the members of the transitional government should declare (not address, but declare) that all power is temporarily in the hands of the members of the transitional government, including the army, navy and all other force structures of the country. So to speak, they should be put firmly in front of the fact that the transitional government now has the power. Further, the transitional government should immediately issue arrest warrants for all those former members of the government whom they believe should be arrested and prosecuted.

The action must be tough, uncompromising, sometimes even brutal. Otherwise, no one will hand power over to you. On the contrary, if you show weakness and lack of organization, you are going to be treated very harshly. This is life, real life, not some empty rhetoric on social media pages.

And if you think you can change things by peaceful protests, even if not always peaceful ones, without having a far-reaching plan to seize power in your own hands, then you're an amateur at political strategy and you'd better continue to sit on the sofa and post memes on social media.

    Good luck.
