Later, in another note, they mentioned that the news came from Poonam’s sister, and her team is awaiting further information on her. Now, IndiaToday.in got in touch with Poonam’s bodyguard, who mentioned that he last dropped her off on January 29. He also said that the model-actor never mentioned her illness to him or any of her staff.

Poonam Panday’s family is ‘missing' after the news of her death broke the Internet on February 2. And now, IndiaToday.in spoke to Poonam’s bodyguard Amin Khan, who revealed in an exclusive phone call that the last time he was with the actor-model was on January 29, after which, he dropped her home.
He further said that Poonam Pandey’s death has taken the shape of a mystery. Khan revealed that he has been with the actor-model as a bodyguard for the past 10 years. He said he is equally shocked by the news of Poonam's death and expressed uncertainty about whether it is true or false. He reiterated the fact that Poonam's family, including her sister, are not answering calls.
"I last left madam on January 29; we had a photo shoot with Rohit Verma in Mumbai. After that, I dropped her home. She never mentioned any illness to me or any staff", said Khan, further adding, "We went home, but the watchman refused to let anyone in."
POONAM'S TEAM'S NEW STATEMENT
After Poonam Pandey's team issued an official statement on her death, they posted a new statement. In the same, her team said that the news of Poonam's death was first confirmed by her sister. However, her team is awaiting further information on the matter.
The official statement from Poonam Pandey's team reads, "This is to place on record that we have received a call from her family member ( sister ) this morning regarding her sudden demise and confirming the news ( as posted on her official Insta ID). We are awaiting further information from the family to update everyone. We will release an official statement as we receive further updates (sic)."
